Even if you think you have a wonderful credit report, Be wary of the error factor. Just as you receive mail with your name and address wrong, your credit report can also be a mistake. Whether it was human error, outdated or even false identity, errors occur, better than we all think.

Under the Act, including the credit reporting agency and the organization, the information to the Credit Reporting Agency have responsibility for correcting inaccurate or incomplete information in your credit report.

So, if you notice an error on your credit report, be sure the Credit Bureau in writing
immediately:

1. Parts of the CRA, what information you believe is inaccurate on your credit report. Include copies, not originals of the documents that your position.

2. In addition to the complete name and your address, your letter should clearly identify each item in your credit report that you dispute. Enter the facts and why are you with the information. Enclosing a copy of your credit report with the items in question circled can be helpful.

3. Although you might think that your reason for writing is clear, you must request that the errors will be corrected.

4. Send your letter by certified mail, return receipt requested, so you can document what the Credit Reporting Registry. Make sure that your letter is dated, and do not forget to make copies of everything you send.

Credit Reporting must reinvestigate the item (s) in question, usually within 30 days, unless your dispute frivolous. You need us, all relevant data you send to the providers (banks, credit agency, etc.).

After the application receives information from a dispute from the credit reporting agency, to examine and investigate all relevant information and the results back to the credit reporting agency.

If the provider finds the disputed information to be inaccurate, it must all nationwide credit reporting agency so that this information is correct in your file.

Deny that the information can not be verified, you must delete the file.

Inaccurate information must be corrected by the CRA.

Incomplete information must be corrected by the CRA.

Any invoice, which includes only one other person must be deleted from the CRA.
