But do not expect to see your report any time soon. In fact, they say they will e-mail the report within 15 days. Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. "
# 3: By mail. The third way to make a copy of your credit report is one form of mailing Annual Credit Report Request Action Service, PO Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281. They require that you have a special form on its website (AnnualCreditReport.com), and when your form is it a month or so before submitting your report. Because you need to on the website for the form, you can also use the reports on-line application - it is certainly much faster.
Since you will receive a free copy every year from each of the three credit bureaus, if you wish your room (one request every four months), you can use your credit reports over the period of one year, all for free.
